Not sure what happened with my first post, but this is the correct text Over 250 people attended the Gymanfa Ganu in Salem last night, with some wonderful singing and some great hymns. Meirwyn Walters did a great job of conducting the singers, and Phil Wyman compered the evening. We sang some popular hymns, such as Rachie, Blaenwern and Mae D?eisian Di. We also performed old and fun favourites such as Calon Lan and Cwm Rhondda. There were additional performances by Saengerfest, the North Shore Christians Men's choir, Dr Rose Wolf, Nina Walters, and Phil with Rebecca leading us through some wonderful songs. Based on last night's success - we think that we will have the event again next year. Who else was there? what are your thoughts? | |
